Our busy, client-focused office needs a reliable, well-organized Office Manager to handle day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management. The Office Manager will be responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control functions, and task delegation. We’re looking for an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop organizational procedures and systems for office personnel, including filing, billing, accounts payable, payroll and scheduling
Improve employee and client retention rates through active communication and problem-solving efforts
Help Manage employee schedules and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts as they arise
Order supplies and equipment as needed
Handle office interactions with outside visitors. This includes greeting and directing guests, answering phone inquiries, and handling requests or complaints in a professional manner.
Coordinate communication between various departments, schedule meetings, distribute reports and keep all parties informed of general business operations.
Operate and maintain office machinery, including copiers, fax machines and printers.
Must have a valid Driver's License
Must pass Drug and Background screening
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Must have a good prior work history
Equipment Operated/ skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Experience with invoicing, customer service, general office duties
Advanced computer skills, Quick Books is a must
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfort with fast-paced environment
Office environment, able to sit for long periods.
8am to 5pm
Monday - Friday
High School or GED required
Associate degree preferred
SSI, Inc Upstate
